How to use ChatGPT
Think of ChatGPT like someone you're texting. You can send messages, and they can send replies.
A few things are different though:
  1. ChatGPT will begin to reply immediately (and will never ghost you).
  1. ChatGPT has knowledge of almost every topic, as it's already read most of the internet.
Aside from continuing the conversation with another message, once ChatGPT responds, you have a few options from the action buttons which show below the response:
  1. Read the response aloud
  1. Copy the entire response to your clipboard (equivalent to highlighting and copying)
  1. Regenerate an alternative response
  1. Mark as a "bad response" and provide feedback
Common ChatGPT Misunderstandings
All of the following things are true, but commonly misunderstood.
  1. ChatGPT does not fact-check its results.
  1. ChatGPT cannot search the internet to inform its responses (by default).
  1. ChatGPT does not have access to up-to-date knowledge.
  1. ChatGPT does not look up answers or reference material in a database (more on how it works in a different doc).
  1. By default, ChatGPT may use your conversations (including any sensitive information you give it) to train future models.
  1. ChatGPT does not learn from your interactions in real time.
  1. ChatGPT cannot access information from previous chats to inform its responses, but it can of course access previous information from the same chat.
What can you use ChatGPT for?
In later docs:

  1. We will uncover some of the advanced features that can allow ChatGPT to:
  1. Access the internet

  1. Write code to analyse uploaded data
  1. Interact with your favourite tools that you already use (email, Salesforce, Office 365, calendar, etc)
